Phil Douglas

Phil Douglas is a seasoned leader who has management and board experience which spans diverse organizational settings and industries. Phil is skilled in recruiting, organizing and leading management teams to create and enhance shareholder value. His experience includes operations, restructuring, governance, marketing, finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic and financial planning, accounting, treasury, human resources, venture capital and information technology. Phil currently serves on the Board of Directors of Oceans Healthcare, Ernest Healthcare and Breath Diagnostics. Oceans Healthcare provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare services in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Ernest Healthcare is a leading provider of post-acute services. Breath Diagnostics is focused on the early detection of lung cancer through the use of its innovative and proprietary breath analysis technology. From January 2018 until August 2019 Mr. Douglas served as a Board Member and Executive Chairman of KureSmart Pain Management. The Company which is a leading provider of interventional pain management services in the Mid-Atlantic region was sold by New Harbor Capital to Nexphase Capital in August 2019.

Previously, Mr. Douglas served as Chairman and CEO of LifeCare Health Partners, a leading provider of post-acute services including long term acute care, transitional care, behavioral health and home healthcare. Mr. Douglas was the co-founder and CFO of HealthSpring and was the founder and CEO of Management and Technology Solutions, both private equity backed physician services organizations.Phil is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was a CPA with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
