Cameron Perkins served as a Board of Directors Member at Fast Pace Urgent Care, a Shore Capital portfolio company that was sold in August 2016. Cameron has more than 13 years of experience in healthcare. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at SouthStar Urgent Care and at Nova Health, Shore Capital's current urgent care platform investments.Cameron founded FastMed Urgent Care in 2001. In 2010, Cameron recapitalized FastMed with the backing of Comvest Group, a Florida private equity firm. After the recapitalization of FastMed, Cameron directed FastMed’s business development activities including national expansion through the identification of acquisition targets and developing a process to open a new clinic every two weeks. Cameron transitioned out of FastMed at the end of 2011. Cameron stays active in several small business ventures, serves men and women transitioning from success to significance as a certified Halftime coach, and volunteers at Hope Community Church where he is spearheading a marketplace ministry. Cameron holds a board seat on the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, Cary Christian School Board, and Young Life Committee. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has four children.Cameron received a Bachelor’s of Health Science with Emphasis in Physician Assistant from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, OH. Additionally, Cameron received a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE.
