Peter is a Manager at Shore Capital Partners, a microcap private equity firm focused on partnering with companies that have between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Peter’s responsibilities include working with portfolio company management teams to improve operational performance, implement strategic initiatives, and prepare acquired platforms for add-on acquisitions and de novo growth.
Prior to joining Shore, Peter was an experienced Manager at KPMG in Chicago within both the Deal Advisory and Strategy practices. While at KPMG, Peter specialized in buy-side and sell-side transactions, post-transaction integration and separation, Transition Service Agreement (TSA) Management, and preparation of SEC carve-out and pro forma financial statements. Peter focused on healthcare and life sciences transactions, leading large-scale integrations and separations and operationalizing cross-functional transaction plans. Prior to joining the Deal Advisory and Strategy practices, Peter spent three years in the KPMG Forensics-Audit Rotation Program.
Outside of the office, Peter is a founding member of the Bernie’s Book Bank Associates Board, the leading provider of quality books to underserved children in the Chicagoland area. Peter is also an avid sailor and a member of the Chicago Yacht Club.
Peter received a B.B.A in Accountancy and a B.A. in German from the University of Notre Dame. Peter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Illinois and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
