Edward Murphy is a Board of Directors Member at Behavioral Innovations, BrightView, and Column Health, Shore Capital's autism services and medication-assisted treatment platform investments. Edward most recently served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Civitas Solutions (f.k.a. the MENTOR Network), a publicly traded at home- and community-based behavioral health services provider with over 12,500 residential clients and 17,400 non-residential clients. Edward served as CEO of Civitas Solutions while the Company was owned by Madison Dearborn Partners and then Vestar Capital Partners. Prior to his role as Executive Chairman and CEO of Civitas, Edwardwas founder and CEO of Alliance Health and Human Services. In addition, Edward served as Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, and the former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority.
Edward is a graduate of Boston College and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
